Expanding on our talk from the Chat. Add a router to the modem, and a PC card to your notebook. Make network disk with your XP PC and run it on your XP5 notebook.

You have a Cable modem, 1 desktop (XP), 1 notebook (Win95 100mhz). You want to connect the two computers to swap files.
