HI all,

My name is Smiraan and for the past week i have been having some serious problems with my computer. I have heard abt this site from a friend of mines and i must say that "thumbs up"...

i have followed the necessary steps to remove this link (http:://win-eto.com/hp.htm?id=9) which has been overwriting my home page and it was solved (just by following those steps as listed on ur site) THanks.

But, a problem still persist and how many times i tried, this link (http://t.swapx.cc/h.php?aid=20009) is still there whenever i tried to access other web sites. I followed all the necessary steps but still unsolved.

I have download the Adware Removal SE but after it has downloaded to my system, it is not opening.

Can someone please help me?

You have to edit your registry using regedit. Navagate to :HK Local Machine/Software/Internet Explorer/Main and remove all references to the bad website. Change any search pages to Google or the search site that your prefer. The default local page should be: c:\windows\system32\blank.htm

Do the same at HK CurrentUser/Software/Microsoft/Internet Explorer/Main

Good luck.
