Replacing A Harddrive In A Notebook Pc

i recently sent the toshiba harddrive out of my presario note book in to the manufactor for replacement however i did not know that i was supposed to remove what i think is called a connecter bar that allows the hard drive to plug in to the mother board where do i go to replace this part
