Hello all,
I am running Windows 7 Home Premium that came installed on my computer when I bought it. My computer is a desktop PC from Dell, specifically a Dell xps 8300, and I have an issue that is concerning me....

I recently had a problem with a browser add on (Firefox 22.0) that I use frequently to downlioad video off the internet. I have had this issue before, but just reinstalling the add on always fixed it, but this time that did not work, so I opened system restore to wind back my computer to yesterday when it was working, and I get this, "You do not have any saved restore points, click here to create a restore point."??

This made no sense to me because just this morning, I had several restore points going back for like a week, and now I have NONE, What in the World??

I think this is something to do with a virus, or maleware, but realize that I AM running a Microsoft operating system, so it could just be that....  :radioactive:

If someone could explain to me what has removed ALL of my restore points I will be eternally grateful!! :censored:

Oh, and thanks in advance!! :bananas:

Sounds like a malware issue indeed... You might choose to report your own post and get it moved to the "Am I Infected" forum.

Hi -

Make sure that you have all Windows Updates installed (Express Only).

Always remember it is a Windows System, and Firefox and Chrome are just Browsers not Operating Systems.

IE 10 is not always required at the moment as I found a few updates have caused problems, but make sure IE 9 is installed -

Thanks -
