Heres the specs:

CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz

Potential GPU - AMD HD 7950

PSU Wattage - 700

RAM - 2 x 4GB DDR3

Fans - 6

1 x CD/DVD RW

1 x 500GB HDD

1 x 1TB HDD

Would I potentially need to upgrade the PSU with these specs or need to upgrade anything else?

Well that's the potential GPU I would like to buy. I am looking more on advice if I would need to upgrade other hardware which could potentially bottleneck it.

The 7950 should comfortably fit in your case and i would change the power supply to something more reliable.

The Seasonic G550 would do the trick.

As long as the 700w has 2 6 pins (It should have AT LEAST 2) you'll be good to go. That X4 965 shouldn't be bottlenecking anything either. All in all everything looks good.

Yes but 800W is an overkill, the 600W should be fine.
