I'm working with my new employer's network, and there is a community printer: OfficeJet Pro 8600.
I spent several weeks printing via the e-mail-to-printer function, but recently I successfully connected to the printer through the Ethernet from the Network page on Windows (running Vista Home SP2 on a Dell Inspiron 15, FWIW). I've been printing just fine through that connection ever since, up to and including about an hour ago.
But when I try to open the HP Scan utility, it tells me that it can't find the printer (http://i.imgur.com/cJoRSTi.jpg).
Do y'all have any ideas about how I might proceed?
