I'm loading a PC game for my son on an old Gateway computer/Windows 98. After all the loading of disks, now it says there's no 16 bit sound card, 3D hardware not installed, no 3D video card. SO, I'm going to uninstall and install it on one of my other two new computers. Before I do that, is there something on them that should say it has all these requirements? Would the verbage be different....I just want to understand what it should say, before I waste my time.

Thanks!

Hi txishome.
If the game is new, system requirements will be on the box.
If it's not, check the game disk in explorer for a "readme" or similar file. (usually a .txt or .html file)
If you still can't find it, go to the game makers website. System requirements are almost always listed there.
