Help! I've tried several free scanners. Avast, Spybot - S&D, ESET NoD32 with no luck. I have installed Hijack This and CCleaner also.

However, the links don't "go" anywhere and I also have the problem of the first time I click on a page (anywhere) it takes me to a sales or survey pop-up disguised to look like somethign "related" to the site I am on. Example: if I am on facebook it takes me to a Facebook Survey.

Please...do NOT use another member's topic in the Malware Removal Logs forum...as a basis for action by you and your situation.

The suggestions by the Helper for such topics...vary by Helper picking up the topic, situation as viewed by the Helper, and choice of tools used by Helper to obtain information re the problem.

Please follow Steps 6-8 at Preparation Guide, Before Using Malware Removal Tools and Requesting Help - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic34773.html , taking care to post requested data in the new topic which you will initiate in that forum.

Once that is done, I will close this topic to avoid confusion.

Louis
