I have a recovery CD for my computer but in order to run it I have to MSDoS mode and I can't qiet figure out to do that? I know that when the computer starts up you are supposed to press F8, but beyound that I am lost, would someone please help me? To fix the computer it will cost me an arm and a leg. This will help on me having to lug the tower to the computer store and having to pay someone that will take about an hour to fix. If I know how to do theis then I can fix it myself and save some gas and some money in my wallet

From the Boot Menu (F8) select Command Line Only. This will bring you the C:\. Is this what you were referring to??
