Win 7 64 bit. All updates applied.
Had occasion to check whether a program was set correctly in my McAfee Firewall. Firewall was shown as running, but when I checked further, the Firewall was starting and then immediately deactivating. On checking the Windows Firewall it reported the wrong settings were being used and then reported Error n0x80070424. I ran Spybot and cleaned up what it found. Also removed and reinstalled McAfee, but problem persists.
