It's brand new with a Windows 7 and I have no bad sites. When I play mmorpgs it drags my mouse in all directions every 15 minutes.  I just put up a antivirus program up. Maybe that's why. I have a bad habit of misspelling websites that could be why. I was playing neopets and page just went to another website and I closed it right away. I had this computer working just recently.  I didn't reinstall the Operating system. It's a brand new computer.

Are you experiencing a jerky mouse cursor? Or is the mouse cursor sometimes slowly creeping across the screen? It could be as simple as the surface your mouse is on, optical mouses hate mirrored surfaces or glass.

Is it a laptop or desktop? If laptop are you using an external mouse?

Also, if laptop post the manufacturer and model number.

Try this simple fix, do you have a piece of paper or a mouse pad? Place it on that and see if it fixes it, I know it sounds silly.

Thank you for the information. If you had said laptop there are things that can be checked. Since a desktop is different I have nothing to offer.

the paper idea i didn't i guess i would need the other thing. i thought i wouldn't need a mousepad since it moves except when it moved my cursor everywhere. I thought my computer was infected.
