When I go to my message boards, everyone uses the emoticons and blinkies that are animated, .gif images. I cannot see the animation of those images. I see them in a frozen state. I have contacted HP online tech support twice. They had me clean out my temporary internet files, clean the cache, go to tools and internet options and restore everything to default settings. I do have Java installed, also. Nothing is working. Please help me!! Thanks so much!!!

Odd - I can see them in the folder they're stored in.

Using IE - check Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced tab -> enable "Play animations on web pages"

Also check your firewall/AV settings if it has an ad blocking feature. For example, I know Zonealarm has this feature and when you select it, animated gifs will be displayed but not animated anymore.
