my xfx radeon hd 6950 is failing. plus it's runing way to hot some days , like 60 celcius , not gaming, just watching a video on media player.

I'd like to buy a card of the same power or better but one that I know will last , and one that I know won't run hot.

plus what are some other sugestions on cooling a card. I fell upon something called artic something,

if I buy two cards do they run cooler because 2 are doing the job as 1. and if you do 2 cards do they need to be the exact dublicate of each other, same brand , same specs.

Having 2 cards will run hotter as both would be doing the same job at once. Do you have a budget and what games do you play?

60c Isn't awfully hot for a GPU, I think. My 660 runs hotter. Which is the card I would recommend. A GTX 650 or above.
