Hi all,

From past few days i'm facing a problem of waiting for particular websites like yahoo.com, Microsoft.com, etc.

I can open google.com, download.com, of course majorgeeks.com also, but few websites are not running.

I am unable to figure out the cause of this problem, even tried many searches, and tried their solutions but the result is same.

One weird this if I turn on okayfreedom then I can access all this websites saying waiting for response.

I'm running windows 7 ultimate sp 1, have MSE and malwarebytes.

I have scanned my pc many times in different ways like safe-mode, safe-mode with networking, and normal also, but the results are same saying my pc is not infected by any virus or malware or spyware. Even I also think that this problem is not due to any security flaw.

Only one thing which I understood that there is something which stops my browsers to connect or receive data from particular websites. But if I turn on okayfreedom that thing don't interfere like I really had a freedom.

I have also checked my host file and found nothing.

Please help me i'm really pissed off!!

If anything you need to clear or if you don't understand what my problem from above write-up please reply me anytime i'll try elaborate.

I have also taken a screenshot for your reference to understand the problem. In this screenshot you can see that I have opened google.com, download.cnet.com, but waiting for yahoo.com

I tried ping test for yahoo.com using cmd.exe in which I have typed ping -t Yahoo! and I got response and the screen shot is as below.

Waiting for reply!!

Thanks

Usually if some websites are not accessible when they are prior, contacting the ISP would be a first step to take IF both wired and wireless produces the same result and so with other computers on the same network.

I had tired calling my ISP but the reply was negative. They simply told me that we do not play any role in this matter as we do not block any websites.

If the conditions are only true as stated,

IF both wired and wireless produces the same result and so with other computers on the same network.

Is the problem persistent on both wired/wireless and on all computers or just on a particular computer?

I think the problem is coming from my pc itself. Because the cable which is connected to my pc is coming from my roof, where the ISP has put his instrument (kind of modem).
From this instrument one cable is going to my neighbor's house just as one I have coming from my roof.

I have asked him about this but his internet is working fine. He can access all the websites.

That is why i'm saying that this issue is caused by my pc.

Download MiniToolBox and open/run the program.
When open, checkmark or select all options then click Go.
A notepad will open then copy-paste the report on your next reply.

Run this on the computer having website connection lag problems.

Please remove spybot completely by Add or Remove programs then check the difference. Post a new Minitoolbox log and checkmark only on List Content of hosts, List IP configuration, List winsock entries next time.

Ok. Looking at the MiniToolbox report

PPP adapter Airlink:

   Connection-specific DNS Suffix  . :
   Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Airlink
   Physical Address. . . . . . . . . :
   DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
   Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes
   IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 202.71.8.55(Preferred)
   Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255
   Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 0.0.0.0
   DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 202.47.112.7
                                       202.47.112.8
   NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Disabled

This network interface is or could interfere with your current DSL LAN connection. I would suggest removing it if this has nothing to do with your network or is not being used anyway.

I don't think it might be interfering. " Airlink " is my ISP. So it can not be removed.

Here is link of my ISP :
