I have a new Asus VivoBook S55oCB and the touch screen and windows 8 a mystery to me.

I can't seem to save my personal settings.  The colors look faded and a little yellow.  I've gone through changing everything and then when I restart my computer all my changes are lost..

Can somebody explain how I can save these changes.
