My desktop, Windows 7 HP 32bit, was recently bitten by the FBI MoneyPak malware, and with a lot of help, the PC is running, but without Anti-Malware software, just Microsoft Security Essentials and the default Windows Firewall.

Firefox has the NoScript addon. I only use IE when a site "demands" it, and Chrome isn't ready for prime time. There are other browsers, I just like Firefox.

Questions, Recommendations or suggestions.

1) Is there a hidden keylogger still lurking on the PC? That would answer my concerns about reimaging. I have backups of essential files (DOC, XLS, JPG, MOV ....), anything else doesn't matter. Believe it or not, this is only the second time this desktop has ever been bitten by a virus/malware.

2)  Which of the many Anti-Malware software do you recommend. I tried Spyware S&D, and their TeaTimer conflicted with MSE to the point the PC just wouldn't run.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

You may want to read: Supplementing your Anti-Virus Program with Anti-Malware Tools

BTW, read the note about mvps.org no longer recommending Spybot S&D or Ad-Aware.
