Hi

Please try the driver from the below link.

http://ftp.us.dell.com/audio/R192894.EXE

If it didn't work for you, please post the hardware ID of your audio card.

Hi

You should install XP SP3 first before trying to install the audio driver. SP2 doesn't contain high definition audio bus driver. After installing SP3, your system will recognize the high definition audio as Audio device on high definition audio bus .

Download SP3 from http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=24

After installing the SP3, rerun the audio driver setup. Probably it will install. If not, follow the below steps.

- Open device manager. (devmgmt.msc in RUN dialog )

- Right click on the Audio device on high definition audio bus and choose properties.

In the Properties window click on Details tab and select Device Instance Id from the drop down.

   Device-ID.png

Select the ID (whole number ) and use ctrl + C key combination to copy it. paste this ID in next reply.
