Just to know what side does the driver sit on in england and in france? if they sit on the right side in england but on the left side in france what happens when they cross the channel tunnel?

I reckon its like here in america. The perfered Driver side is suggested.

If I buy a japanese car and have it shipped to the USA it does not have to be converted to a left-side drive in order for it to be legal.
