For a few days now, whenever I start up my computer, my start bar freezes and forces me to close it, but then it restarts and a pop up comes up with an error message saying that C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\sturdql\srivsik\wow.dll (DLL) initalization routine failed.

This is now popping up for everything I do on my computer, and I have no access to the folder itself, and upon going directly to the address, it opens a very complicated notepad in which I cannot edit either.

Norton is not detecting ANYTHING, and I've used MANY other programs who are not finding any problems either.

I looked up a few things on google and it says it might be a left over from a previous google redirect virus? I've had many issues with that but all have been resolved to my knowledge. I also changed my start up programs, incase it was a left over that had been removed but was still on the startup, but that wasn't it either T_T

Please PLEASE help me!! I would really appreciate it DX

Mod Edit: Moved topic from Windows 7 to a  more appropriate forum. ~bloopie

Hello [ b]Empty your temp folders using TFC (Temporary File Cleaner)[/b]

[list]
  • Please download TFC by Old Timer and save it to your desktop.
    alternate download link
  • Save any unsaved work. (TFC will close ALL open programs including your browser!)
  • Double-click on TFC.exe to run it. (If you are using Vista, right-click on the file and choose "Run As Administrator".)
  • Click the Start button to begin the cleaning process and let it run uninterrupted to completion.
  • Important! If TFC prompts you to reboot, please do so immediately. If not prompted, manually reboot the machine anyway allowing Windows to load normally (not into Safe Mode) to ensure a complete clean.
  • How is it?

Nope DX

it still happened, even though that program removed a lot of junk with it as well.

Still when I restart and try to click into anything it freezes. DX

I might just whipe out everything at this point and start fresh. Which sucks a whole lot. ._.

but thankyou so much for replying!

Ok, that's a last resort.

Edit" I have found out that to remove this we need to repost and use specific tools.

We need to get a deeper look. Please follow this Preparation Guide and post in a new topic.
Let me know if all went well.
