I have installed the Super Anti-spyware.  However, my computer will not let me run it.  What is the problem?  What do I need to do?  Thanks

Hello -

Please remove your current version from Programs and Features -

Re-install from SUPERAntiSpyware and save it to desktop or Documents while tou finish the setup. If saved to desktop, the installer can be "Dragged and Dropped" into Documents.

Always be sure to click Updates if you wish to scan, so you have the latest definitions - I scan twice Weekly usually.

SUPERAntiSpyware is a good anti-malware program which offers technology to deal with some rootkit infections. In fact, we even have a tutorial here at BC written by the site owner: How to use SUPERAntiSpyware to scan and remove malware from your computer

SUPERAntiSpyware will scan for cookies if you have it configured to do so. There is no need to do this as Cookies are NOT a "threat".
But by default it will look for Tracking Cookies if you do not use a Blocker in your browser -

Let us know how this works -

If the reinstall does not work, please refer to these instructions for using the SUPERAntiSpyware Installer. If SUPERAntiSpyware is already installed but will not run, then follow the instructions for using RUNSAS.EXE to launch the program. If you are still unable to get SUPERAntiSpyware running, then follow the instructions to download and use SASSAFERUN.COM.

-- Alternatively, you can download and try the SUPERAntiSpyware Portable Scanner (listed under Popular Links if you are not redirected to the download page).
