My laptop says im connected but my internet dosnīt work

Hey,

 

i´m using windows xp professional service pack 3 

and my computer (wich is a Fijutsu ESPRIMO Mobile V6535) says that im connected to the internet but i dont have internet

LAN is working

 

i tried using the repair internet but it says:

 

Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the

following action cannot be completed:

Renewing your IP address

For assistance, contact the person who manages your network

 

Hope someone can help me:)

If it says your LAN is not working, have you tried removing and re-installing the drivers?  When were you first not able to connect to the internet? have you tried rebooting and pressing F8 and selecting last known good configuration?

thank you so much updating my atheros AR5007EG Wireless network adaptor driver worked :)
