Greetings,

I am working on a friends computer that has Vista SP2, 2GB of RAM, and it is slow.  I need help on this because I have never worked on Vista and not sure what utilities to try on it.  I did notice 2 different Anti-virus programs on the computer and removed one of them.  Any insight on this would be helpful.  Thanks!

FWIW:  Slow Computer-browser Check Here First; It May Not Be Malware - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic87058.html .

Uninstall of one of the installed AV programs was a good first step :).
