Hi folks... first post here from a newbie.

I have been trying to help a friend with a strange problem.

Sudenly one day his emails were sent preceeded by the letters "ccscc".

Such as:

'ccscc Joe Schmoo@aol.com'

I have looked up ccscc online and the acronym ranges from Champaign County Sports Car Club to sometype of maleware in his registry.

I have looked in his programs and see nothing suspicious,

I have run SAS and Malwarebytes.

I searched his software for sscss and come up with nothing.

I have looked into his AOL email account and find nothing relating to this 'ccscc'.

(Windows 7, HP desktop)

Thoughts/Ideas?
