The last few days I've had an intermittent problem with the mouse cursor moving erratically when I am on a page that has an animated banner, especially when the cursor is near or on the right scroll bar of a page. My OS is Windows 7 - 64 bit and I have an old-fashioned roller ball mouse connected with a PS/2 port. I already checked the mouse for internal cleanliness, and it it remarkably clean. Why is it now moving intermittently like this?

how often do you clean up your computer? (disc defrag, disc cleanup, etc) it sounds like you are using a lot of memory to run the flash/java animations and you are simply experiencing lag of the computer, when loading larger pages/youtube videos my computer does this too.

I think its either just lag or if you have multiple monitors, your video card trying to load the visuals first before moving anyhting.
