Hello, can you tell me the path to these.

the legitimate jview.exe is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32

Jview.exe (jview) is a tool used to execute Java applications from the command line. Jview provides an environment in which your application can run. It supports both debug and retail versions of your application.

Is it shimgv. exe or shimgv.dll

Why do you think they are infected.?

Run UnHide and see if you see your files,

firstly thanks for your reply,

so that i know jview.exe is a valid application on my pc. but i just curios why its appear on my task manager along with shimgvw. exe its never been there before. there was a quadrangle just infront of the word jview.exe & shimgvw.exe and at the end of the word. since i have not install any application ever on my pc, and suddenly my picture is hidden, i begin to suspect that i have been infected by virus.

i already try unhide but still no luck.

hrm how do i attach any image on this topic? i cant find it ... :)

We are going to have to get a deeper look to figure this out.

Please follow this Preparation Guide and post in a new topic.
Let me know if all went well.
