Well here we go again !! According to TrendMicro this malware has reared it's head again with a new wrinkle:

 

The notorious info-stealing ZeuS/ZBOT variants are reemerging with a vengeance, with increased activity and a different version of the malware seen this year," wrote Jay Yaneza of Trend Micro, on the security company's blog.

 

This seems to be most prevalent on social media sites and has Facebook in its cross-hairs. Ardent users of social media would be well-advised to be leary of "clicking" on anything associated with a ".tk" extension.

 

Just another reminder to practice prudent security measures by keeping all programs and utilities up to date.
