A freind of mine seems to have a problem with her laptop. Shes running a Dell Insipiron1440 With Windows 7. Its about 3-4 years old.  She says:

"The computer takes me to a screen. That give me two suggestions: load windows files (recommend), start windows normally.

I have tried both and neither takes me to the desk top. There are no other options such as press f7."

So basically she cannot get to her desktop. Any idea what might be wrong?

Hi,

Not sure what might be wrong but, if she has the installation disk and can do a startup repair, the problem might be solved.

Keep us posted
