I have a new SSD and I am planning to dual boot Win 8 and LinuxMint.

I read that if I want to use Win 8 Boot manager for dual-boot, I have to install grub, which is LinuxMint boot manager to the same partition which LinuxMint is installed.

How do I go about doing that during the LinuxMint installation ?

is it during this step of the installation process ? See image below :)

If you're unsure about how to go about this, I would suggest the Linux Mint forums.
Linux Mint's forums will be able to help you discover an alternate or approach or two to your question.
Hope it helps, and best of luck with your Linux Mint/Windows 8 dual boot.
