got a problem, probably simple to all u gurus but im getting annoyed with my Microsoft Outlook locking up/freezing for no apparent reason (comes up "NOT RESPONDING"), also IE does it too although seems to be a bit better. when it just locks up i try & shut it down but the logging off screen just stays on! running windows 7 64bit.

in fact windows explorer has just started "NOT RESPONDING" too, seems to be catchy...

im not too bad on a computer but dont know all the tech stuff really. bit worried there is a virus/worm or something. seems to be heaps of software u can download to anaylyze & maybe fix stuff but dont know what to use or where to go from here.

Or have i unintentionally deleted something i shouldnt have?

all help will be much appreciated. thankyou.
