A very strange problem.
First of all, the problem started this morning, so I assume it was a website I visited this morning that caused the problem.
I noticed my Avast started blocking a program that repeatedly popped up, and took a look at what file it is.
It was named twunk_32.exe. In the computer process line, the twunk_32.exe seemed to start up 3 different processes. (During all the while, Avast kept on blocking at regular interval) However, after a bit of time those 3 processes of twunk_32.exe ran, a strange audio seems to pop up as well. Not in a seperate windows or anything, but you can hear it nonetheless. Audio wasn't music, but sounded like some guy talking over a mic on computer. He was saying very strange things, ranging from some NFL things to shouting "Wake up cam! Wake up cam!".
Of course, the audio would stop once I ended the twunk_32.exe processes, but they would start up again after couple minutes and rinse and repeat.
I ran Malewarebytes and Avast anti-virus, they picked up nothing and CCleaner did nothing to help as well.
I restarted the computer in Safe Mode, transferred the ownership of the file (which was under TrustedDownloaders), and deleted it.
After I deleted it, same problem popped up from a file named winhelp32.exe this time. So I did the same with it and I haven't had same problem for now.
They were both in C:/WINDOWS folder.
What I am worried now though is
A) If there is remant of the file in my computer
B ) If the core of the virus/malware/whatever is something other than those 2 files
C) If I can install any other anti-virus than Avast or Malewarebytes which may pick up programs like that in future? (Avast did a great job of blocking whatever start up or url it was trying to open up, but the scan didn't pick it up.)
Also, if possible, can anybody explain me on how the audio thing may have happened?
Edit: I didn't know whether I should post DDS and other stuff, because the fire is out or so to speak, but didn't know if there is remnant files. Also, I have no idea if I posted on the appropriate forum, sorry about that.
