Hi... I am searching for a driver for a creative labs external CDRW for windows xp -  The file name is ed2400.zip.  Every site that says it has it wants to install some other "check your drivers" type software... Does anyone know where I might find this driver?

Thanks in advance - MisBea

What has prompted you to find a new driver for this optical drive?

The driver version which Rewster posted is dated October 31, 2003.  There is a newer version which was released in April of 2009.  You should always use the newest drivers.

Download Creative CD-RW BLASTER 241040 External 1.21.4 For Win98SE/ME/2000/XP Driver for Windows XP - Soft32Download.com

Before loading this driver you should create a new restore point so that if there are any complications you can return to the condition prior to the problem.  This is a good idea with any download.

What operating system are you running?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
