Hi, I have been experiencing many odd things with my computer lately that have not crippled my experience in a major way. I will begin by noting that I run on Windows 7 operating system.

To begin, a few months ago I noticed that my laptop would begin to run extremely hot when plugged in, and refuses to go into sleep mode on its own. Even if I close my laptop, it will stay running (I can hear the fan) and upon opening it, I just get a black screen that no amount of clicking/button pressing can take me out of. I have to hold down my power button and completely reboot my computer if it does this. Around the same time I started experiencing other (related?) symptoms. For example, every few hours at random my internet will tell me that a script is currently unresponsive, prompting me to either continue and wait for it to respond or stop the script. If I stop the script then my internet is fine, if I click continue then no amount of waiting will let my firefox continue working. I have to ctrl-alt-delete close firefox and wait a few minutes before reopening it. Furthermore, every once in a great while if I am playing games online, the client will randomly close and I will be a all black screen. This screen I can move my mouse around, and if I click and drag my screen acts like paint, letting me "draw" whatever I like on the black screen in a red color until I release the click of my mouse. It looks like this - http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg156/bossinthe831/20130505_142211_zps7a239b46.jpeg ...........Finally, only since I started experiencing all these problems at once has my online gaming experienced very severe "lag spikes" and/or severe frame rate drops.

I assumed that possibly firefox was defective causing the script problem, and the game things were just a problem with the client, however today when I was surfing the internet I got a weird message on the bottom right corner of my screen. I didn't take a screenshot, but it was a loading bar that said something about farming bitcoins.

I have Kaspersky anti-virus, but it does not pick up anything. I am not even positive that I have malware, but after seeing the bitcoin thing and connecting the dots with all of these random things happening at the same time, I figured I would like to find out.

Thank you for any and all help.

- Jon
