Why would I get email offers after searching something online etc?  For example, my husband plays online poker, so we get emails from poker/gambling sites.  I took an online class for first time home buyers...I get emails about buying a home.  I searched auto loan refinance...I get emails asking if I need to refinance.  If I check the tracking number of a package I'm expecting, I'll get phishing emails from fake UPS/FedEx/USPS sites saying that a package couldn't be delivered to click a link.  I delete them immediately.   I've done malware scans using my ISP provided security software but I am still getting these types of emails.
