I had the recent need to call dell to order a replacement DVD, i had gotten some info from a chat tech on their support site that the dvd cost $5-10. this was about February-ish. Now that the employee got serious about wanting to repair her personal machine we went ahead and went to purchase it and we found that they no longer sell the DVD's only the $40.00 usb key (~50.00 after tax+shipng)

Anyone know what the deal is with these things? I was unable to find any info about them online. The salesman insisted it was much better than the DVD... Laptop came with no recovery partition.
