When I accessed my mail programme today I discovered that the format of the INBOX has changed. Instead of message headers in the reading pane I have little envelope icons and a blank pane. This means I have to click on every envelope to find what is inside and new mail would disappear were it not for the number opposite the "Inbox" word itself.

I don't recall doing anything different but I really would like to resolve this real nuisance.

My thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
