Hi forum,

I just got a message from hp which suggested me to do an upgrade for my Bluebooth module from 3.0 to 4.0.   Well, when I bought my notebook years ago, which was Bluetooth 3.0 config only and I had no expectation which hp would do a future hardware upgrade from 3.0 to 4.0.

I 'm wondering whether my hardware is compatible with the advance upgrade or not.  Because I don't want to get in trouble after I do it.  Any suggest for that ? Go or no go, that is the problem.  Is that OK to do so ?

Thanks for your reply.

Well, I think it 's always a good idea to update all the services, drivers.... It would increase your system security and performance.

If I were you, I would update to 4.0, but you must  make sure that link is legitimate, otherwise, you maybe download malicious files.

Hope this help
