My computer was recently infected by the arestocrat virus, which is pretty nasty and annoying.  I have read on several other blogs to restart the computer in safe mode and use a thumb drive to use a program that delets the virus.  Well I am unable to start my computer in safe mode, its a Dell with Windows 7 btw.  Should I just toss it now or is there another way I can bypass this thing and get it off my system?  Any info would be very helpful.  Thanks in advance.
