Hello, and :welcome: to Bleeping Computer.

ComboFix is not currently compatible with Windows 8. If and when ComboFix is released for Windows 8 is something that is up to the sole discretion of sUBs (the author). Rushing a release only brings huge risk due to insufficient testing and possible incompatibilities.

Additionally, I am obligated to point out that ComboFix (CF for short) is intended by its creator to be "used under the guidance and supervision of an expert", NOT for personal, unsupervised use. Please read Combofix's Disclaimer. When CF is run without trained assistance, it can no longer be considered a "safe" tool. Using this tool incorrectly could lead to disastrous problems with your operating system such as preventing it from ever starting again.

Should you choose to disregard this warning, you do so at your own risk.

Hi do you guys know that the whole world is looking for next version of CF (for windows 8 and upper version s).

If possible please try to release it soon. I know the limitations for that. Now using McAfee Stinger for windows 8 and higher versions.

Salute you sUBs for creating this amazing tool.

Hi lingroot :)

Please read the following post posted 2 days ago by quietman.

At this point ComboFix most likely never will be updated to support Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 since there are other alternatives (such as FRST, Zoek) which are being used by malware removal experts. However, the developer (sUBs) periodically releases updates and fixes for older supported operating systems.
