Hi guys I have had a second BSOD with a similar message of "Kernel_Security_Check_Failure"

After bootup I got a report that said:

Files that will be sent to Microsoft:

C:\Windows\Minidump\052213-21593-01.dmp

C:\Users\Gary\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-67796-0.sysdata.xml

C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP

anyone know what I should do or what these files mean? the computer is only a week old. Thanks.

Hi

I guess this laptop is a fairly new model and it is still under warranty. Please do the following steps to eliminate any software related issues.

If your laptop came pre-installed with Windows 8, download and update this BIOS  --->

http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/BIOS/BIOS/BIOS_Acer_2.14_A_A.zip?acerid=634980614021450985&Step1=NOTEBOOK&Step2=ASPIRE&Step3=ASPIRE%20E1-571&OS=8P1&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=AAP_2

If the BIOS update didn't solved the issue , restore Windows to the factory default state by reading instructions from the below link.

 http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2631

If the problem still appears even after restoring Windows, immediately submit it for warranty claim.
