I am sure most people use Microsoft Windows Firewall that comes with their computer but out of curiosity, I am wondering if anyone uses any third party firewalls like ESET, ZoneAlarm, Comodo, etc... And why?

Please read http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/407147/answers-to-common-security-questions-best-practices/#entry2413189 as some of this covers Firewalls and why you may choose one of the dozens available -

I use Symantec Endpoint Protection. It's an antivirus product with a built in firewall. I use because it prompts for all applications and allows easily changing what's allowed and what's not. The only product I've ever seen comparable to it is Comodo Firewall, which in recent releases has been completely destoryed because they dicided the UI should look like some cheesy alien type thing-a-ma-bob.

Oooo, wow, Symantec seems to have a nice one. Thank you very much for all the screenshots.
I'll have to definitely consider this, I made this topic to see if anyone else was using an extra firewall like that exactly because I was thinking about upgrading my Nod into Smart Security for it's built in Firewall also. You are definitely making me consider it, that's for sure. :oneeye:
