I have a tint problem with my monitor, (Compaq 7550).

Frequently the monitor just flashes over and has a yellow tint this effects all the programs, and is as if I am looking through

a yellow tinted piece of glass.

It also effects the colors on programs like paint where yellow color(s) are not visible and show up as white.

Any ideas as the the source of the problem ?

So it's the built in screen for your compaq laptop? Your not plugging into an external display?

Have you updated your graphics card drivers?

Yep I ain't no computer technician, just an artist in need of a modern communications system

and its graphic tools and technologies.

In Systems Information >>No information on Graphic or Graphic Card

In Device Manager Monitor Properties

In the sub folder Monitor;Plug and Ply Monitor It states that

No Driver files are required or have been loaded for this device.

Am I looking in the right places ?

Those monitors connect via VGA and whenever I connect through my VGA cable, it sometimes has color problems having a green, blue, or yellow tint and it always has helped to either mess with the connection or replace the cable from my experience. And as for a computer technician, I am just a guy trying to help man. Maybe someone else has other helpful suggestions?

OK Slim, . .

I opened this page and I am trying to understand where the monitor comes in as stated in the document search.

Of course this is an anterior situation concerning the VGA cable..

Have any idea ?

Search for DELL Dimension 2350 ... Dell Dimension 2350 High Speed USB 2.0 PC Net Link Cable ... It can make your LCD/CRT monitor / projector only with VGA port work ...
