MSE, Windows Defender disappeared and windows update failed.

Hi,

 

I'm having troubles with my laptop lately, as both my security softwares were taken down, and now I'm running on Avast! and spybots. I used super-anti spyware and it removed a trojan however the removal seemed to be unclean as there's still a startup registry for the malware which kept on regenerating. In addition I discovered lately that my windows update with an error code of 0x80073712 have failed multiple times, and none of the solutions provided by Microsoft resolved the problem. Please help me and thanks in advance for the support!

Please download Farbar Service Scanner Download Link and run it on the computer with the issue.

  • Make sure the following options are checked:

    • Internet Services
    • Windows Firewall
    • System Restore
    • Security Center/Action Center
    • Windows Update
    • Windows Defender
    • Other Services
  • Press "Scan".
  • It will create a log (FSS.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.
  • Please copy and paste the log to your reply.

You're infected with the newest version of ZeroAccess rootkit.

It'll require elevated help.

 

Please follow the instructions in THIS GUIDE starting at Step 6. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it HERE. Please include a description of your computer issues, what you have done to resolve them, and a link to this topic.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.

It would be helpful if you post a note here once you have completed the steps in the guide and have started your topic in malware removal. Good luck and be patient.
