Hi people,  Iam building a new pc and i have a connector question.  I have a Corsair Carbide 200R case and the connectors that plug into the motherboard for the power sw, the HD activity, reset sw and so forth aren't marked where the ground pin is so i could plug it in upside down or right side up. There is a mark or kind of like a arrow on the far end, all wiring is solid black that goes into the connectors and i don't want to burn anything up.   Thanx

Hi, The power switch and reset switch do not have a ground connector. They will work either way you put them. I would put the end marked with an arrow on the power end for the power light and hard drive activity light. I will say that I would have expected there to be markings on the Plugs that have a polarity requirement. Normally they use two different color wires where the black wire is the ground.

Good Luck

Roger

on the lights, don't worry to much-if you get them switched, they just wont work-you wont hurt anything, all you gotta do is switch them around.
