I am running windows 7/64 and cannot get rid of this pc optimizer pro. have tried to use revo uninstaller and win patrol with no results.

it's in this file

C:\Program Files\PC Optimizer Pro\StartApps.exe -s

also, received this    %windir%\system32\conime.exe

file right around the same time and cannot delete it.

Is this the version you're trying to uninstall?

I am not sure what version I have. I see it in my programs but disabled it so cannot see the version without launching it. How can I tell?

Both PC Optimizer and conime.exe are legitimate programs -- but there are malware versions of PC Optimizer, and malware has been known to infect conime.exe and/or replace it.

I recommend you head over to the antivirus removal forum. The fact that you are unable to remove it indicates it is malware. They can best advise you on how to remove it.
