As alternative to renewing Geek Squad, anyone want to recommend free fix-it tool? I have Cleaners & MS Security Essentials. What about performance tuner or recovery files for when have FBI virus lockup, I get files off HD before wiping clean?

Are you saying you are infected, or think you might be?  You should start here- http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/103/am-i-infected-what-do-i-do/

Otherwise, I would steer clear of the "fix-it-free" tools, as they are usually just trials of pay-for applications (that usually slow you down more than they help anyway).  There are lots of great free utilities for maintanence and such right here- http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/

Avoid registry cleaners and "optimizers."  If you have more specific questions, ask away! :)
