Hi, first off apologies if this is in the wrong form, I'm new to Bleeping.

I've recently been encountering a number of problems with my laptop including failure to (visibly) launch iexplorer, no response from ctrl+alt+del, very slow running, multiple conhost.exe instances, more iexplorer instances than should be running (ie. more than 2 when I have one window open). Before I was simply running Microsoft Security essentials but since I've encountered problems I've tried MBAM and SAS and I clear bits and pieces each time but it's clear my system is getting reinfected somewhere.

I'm fairly inept when it comes to computers so I'm hoping I might be able to find some help here!

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Re-post this in the 'Am I infected' section of BC - that's where the experts hang out. Just one piece of advice. When someone gets back to you, do your best to follow their advice / instructions as exactly as you can.

Good luck,

Chris Cosgrove

Ah thanks, if someone could close this topic, I'll repost as I can't move it myself. Thanks.
