This is my husbands computer (way more computer illiterate than me) and I cannot get it to update.  I have run mamb, mamrootkit, tdskiller, adwcleaner, junkremovaltool and tweaking all in one repair.  Running microsoft security essensials(mse) for security as well as superantispyware and mbam.  Still nothing.  rkill run in safemode and rerun of mbam.  still nothing.  I searched the forum using won't update, KB951847, etc. but found no real answer.  Any help would be appreciated. It is this website that saved my laptop so hopefully you can help here too.

Remove .NET Framework
Run the .NET Framework cleanup tool
Reinstall .NET Framework
Go to Windows Update and let it install all the updates for .NET Framework.
