low cpu speed

Hello, my name is Kat,
 
I have an amd athlon™XP 3200+
220GHz. 3.00 GB of RAM
however it now reads...
amd athlon(XP)
1.05GHz. 3.00GB of RAM

Is there anyone that can help me get the speed back up to where it should be?

when did it start reading at 1.05 ghz, and what kind of computer and operating system are you using?

Glad you got it figured out. having to ask for help isn't a sign of stupidity, its just admitting ones human-we all have those things that stump us sometimes, thats why we have such great communities such as BC so we can help each other out.
