Have you tried using Safe Mode Firefox?

Firefox's safe mode feature is used for troubleshooting purposes by allowing you to temporarily disable all the custom settings, themes and extensions. There are also options to make them permanent or reset all preferences to default.

If it's not a Plugin and Add-on in Firefox, here are some more troubleshooting tips.
