So lately I've been having connection issues. Connection issues such as while surfing on google chrome, very frequently pages would take very long to load, or not load at all and I end up with a: Error 118 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT.

Even when I refresh, I load to the same error page. I have to wait a couple minutes and refresh for my browser to start loading pages again.

I am also constantly on steam (the game messenger), and that disconnects as well. Every time regain connection through browser I often don't through steam, so I have to manually exit steam, then reconnect- but for some reason every time I do this, steam does not seem to recognize my computer and I have to use the verification code sent to my email every time (so I'm assuming maybe it's an IP issue?).

The reason I'm posting here is because I ran a few virus scanners the last few days (malwarebytes, spybot search & destroy, microsoft security essentials) and they found quite a few adware, trojans, malware. I scanned and got rid of everything, and the scans show up clean now.

But today when I was randomly going through my programs list in "uninstall a program" i found something called "magnipic" and I googled it, apparently it's a nasty virus. I also noticed I had conduit search installed on my computer, I think I got that through using utorrent. I'm new to using torrents and I used it once, and I think all these problems started after I used utorrent.

My friend told me to run combofix, and I did. However I'm not sure what any of the language in the notepad means and I'm not sure if the issues. I've been stressed out because I haven't been able to do any online banking while my computer is infected.

If anyone has any idea what is going on with my PC, help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Just wanted to say I reset my google chrome, and IE browsers following your steps. I also roan the Temporaray File Cleaner. I also only have 1 scanner: Microsoft Security Essentials.
Currently on my computer (other than the ones I installed to follow your steps) I have Spybot Search & Destroy, Malwarebytes (free trial) and MSE.

As I went to my new reset google chrome I noticed I kept getting an update error, so I just uninstalled and reinstalled chrome.

I noticed after I reinstalled and visited the extensions page, that Utorrent:

uTorrentControl_v6 10.15.0.62

uTorrentControl_v6

was still there. and on the right side says "installed by a third party."

I find it very unsettling ithat I uninstalled the utorrent program but it still seems to be popping up in places....

1 - Update Adobe Reader

2 - Update Java

3 - Uninstall Spybot

4 - To remove utorrent toolbar

Open Google chrome
Click at Wrench icon on top right side
Go to Tools>Extensions
Click the trash can/bin icon.

Thank you.

So is anything malicious on my computer gone now?

I was wondering if I actually did have anything to begin with.

Thank you so much! Did I have anything though before the scans?
Also, do I follow your instructions and scan every one of these scanners once a week or is just a weekly MSE and Malwarebytes scan?
